José Reis
After 20 years in endurance sports - as an athlete, coach, and mentor - I’ve learned the value of enjoyment, hard work, and genuine companionship. My coaching journey is shaped by my own search for resilience and balance, and by the privilege of guiding busy people towards their personal finish lines.My background in demanding corporate tech roles alongside high achievers taught me that life rarely follows a script. No two weeks are ever the same. That’s why my approach is always agile and tailored, bringing structure and support, but never pressure, to your journey. My clients value the honest encouragement, soft accountability, and freedom to grow at their own pace.I’m proud to be bilingual (English and Portuguese), and to have supported people from all walks of life. Helping CEOs, business leaders, and passionate runners complete their first marathon or return to running after setbacks.My British Triathlon Level 2 Coach certification has given me a solid foundation in multi-sport endurance training and safety, skills I bring to every person I work with.What do I enjoy the most?

• Trail Runs and Half-Marathon: I secured top positions in my age group at challenging trail events highlighting the importance of adaptability and strategy in varying terrains.• Long-Distance Triathlon: I conquered several long distance, including the Alpe D’Huez Long Distance Triathlon in the French Alps, renowned for its elevation and rigorous demands. This enhanced my approach to strength, conditioning, nutrition and hydration, high-altitude performance and shaped my approach to guiding clients through extensive training plans• Charity Events: I participated in a 100 km charity bike ride and the Will Mackaness Charity Swim (100x100m), blending my passion for endurance with community impact. These events taught me valuable lessons in pacing, mental endurance, and safety.
